The "R.Test Evolution 4" from Novacor, is a unique device that has a proven pedigree. It is well established and has been respected throughout the UK since the original R.Test Evolution device was launched in 1995. In fact, previous versions of the R.Test Evolution are currently in daily use in more than 300 NHS and Private Hospitals and an ever growing number of GP Surgeries & Primary Care Centres throughout the UK and many more around the world. The "R.Test Evolution 4" takes less than a minute to set-up and is extremely easy to fit to your patient. It is exceptionally light and comfortable to wear and most patients genuinely forget that they are wearing it at all.
The "R.Test Evolution 4" is the only truly AUTOMATIC, Non-Invasive, ECG Arrhythmia Detection Device. This means that it can be used successfully to screen for infrequent and/or asymptomatic arrhythmias including those that occur during sleep. It can be fitted to virtually any patient in the knowledge that results are not dependent upon the patient physically activating the device.... during symptoms or otherwise. Patients can, of course, mark symptomatic events if they wish and are able to.
The "R.Test Evolution 4" can be worn from the traditional 24-hour period or less, or now for anything up to 32 days! whilst continuously monitoring, detecting and storing abnormal ECG. Unsurprisingly, this extended monitoring period is scientifically proven to yield far more "conclusive" results than the traditional 24-hour tape test.
Recent technological developments have created wide interest in the use of the R.Test Evolution in Primary Care. However, not all General Practitioners feel that they have the expertise to accurately interpret all ECG's. For this reason, Novacor have developed a simple low-cost software application "NovaDrive" that through the use of the NHS secure e-mail system, your patients ECG recordings can be transmitted directly to your local Cardiology Department or the Novacor Diagnostics Service for expert analysis, review and reporting. Reports can be returned to you via the same secure email system and in the convenient ".pdf" format for seamless integration into your electronic patient records system.
This is the solution that you have been seeking to effectively diagnose AF / PAF or the causes of Palpitations, Falls, Blackouts, Syncope, TLOC etc.
