Your Doctor may have asked you to wear a Novacor recorder for a number of reasons, but generally it is to investigate how either your Heart or your Blood Pressure behaves over a 24 hour period or sometimes longer. This site exists primarily to provide information to medical staff, but you can use our 'Find Your Recorder' link to identify which device you have and get further information, or the 'Downloads' section to view and print a basic set of patient instructions. The section titled 'Your Condition' is intended to provide only a brief outline of what might be being investigated*. The best source of information is your own General Practitioner or Hospital Consultant.
